Tools Gustafson Floor Source works with the customer who wants to handle their own installation of their new flooring. We offer FREE estimates even when you are buying only the flooring from us so that you will know exactly what you need. We will advise you as to your needs related to underlayment, glues, nails, staples and tools. We will loan you certain tools and advise you as to where you can rent others. We will also spend time with you in our showroom to advise you on just how to install your new flooring from start to finish.

It is our recommendation, based upon past experience, that it is better to install your own floors than to finish them. Finishing requires a number of specialty tools and is truly an Art!
